The Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity is under threat following a university review. The proposals arising from the review are for a major reduction in the number of teaching staff across the department through redundancies and for those who remain to become a part of the School of History and Cultures.

This group is for students, staff, alumni and others who wish to resist these changes and demonstrate the unique interdisciplinary nature of the Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity, which is threatened by the recommendations of the review. This page will also serve as a resources for those who seek to become active in this campaign and want to know what they can do to defend the IAA.
